BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
In order to expressly permit laboratory testing of commercial cannabis and/or cannabis products in agricultural districts with a conditional use permit, certain amendments to SBCC section 25.07.005, as well as, to SBC Ch. 7.02 would need to be made. Attached are the anticipated redline changes should the Board direct staff to draft ordinances which would expressly permit laboratory testing of commercial cannabis and/or cannabis products in agricultural districts with a conditional use permit.
Additionally, the Board may take this opportunity to discuss (if desired) whether cannabis manufacturing should be allowed to occur within the agricultural districts, as the Planning Commission will soon be considering whether to allow hemp extraction/processing in the agricultural districts.
