BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

Reimbursement Agreements are brought to the Board of Supervisors for review and approval  for new development projects.  This type of agreement ensures that the County's General Fund is reimbursed for project-related costs during the Preliminary Review, Specific Plan approval, and CEQA preparation processes. As part of the agreement, the Developer is required to remit to the County sufficient security deposits to ensure that in the case of default there are monies available to reimburse for time and resources expended on the project up to that point.
