BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The amendment of Contract with eCenter under the California Department of Health Care Services - Whole Person Care (WPC) pilot program is to facilitate ongoing upgrades and innovative changes to this eClient management system. Given that WPC is a pilot program, we are given much flexibility by the State to meet the real-time data and communication goals of the State through technology. As more is learned about what is possible with this system, staff are continually refining the existing infrastructure and adding additional metrics with which to track clients and staff progress to determine success. There are sufficient funds budgeted and the amendment to this contract will provide further funding to facilitate these changes.  The contract amendment is for an additional $20,000 to fund additional system customization as specified by County pursuant to Schedule A of the original contract.
