Consider adoption of an Ordinance amending Section 19.01.023 of Title 19, Chapter 19.01 of the San Benito County Code.
1) Read the title of the Ordinance "An Ordinance Amending Section 19.01.023 of Title 19, Chapter 19.01 of the San Benito County Code Pertaining to Compatible Uses on Agricultural Preserves";
2) Make a motion to accept the introduction of the Ordinance;
3) Waive the reading of the Ordinance; and
4) Continue the matter to February 19, 2019 for adoption of the Ordinance.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Board of Supervisors heard the recommendation of the Agricultural Preserve Advisory Committee to expand the list of Compatible Uses within agricultural preserves, as set forth in section 19.01.023 of our LCA Ordinance, and authorized preparation of a proposed Ordinance to add the following six additional Compatible Uses to the list: event centers; wineries; small solar projects for the operation of a farm or ranch; vegetable processing plants; meat processing plants; and airplane runway strip for landowner's Non-Commercial Use. The proposed Ordinance is submitted for the Board's consideration.
