BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The current copier lease for Public Health has expired and the copier is in need of an upgrade.  The lease with Sharp will provide that upgrade and is payable at a monthly rate of $339.00 for five years.  It is standard business practice to provide equipment upgrades at the end of each lease cycle.  The existing copier will be returned to the leasing company.  The lease of standard operating equipment is incorporated in each fiscal year budget.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Approve  a five year lease agreement for a copier with Sharp for Public Health in the amount of $20,340.00 ($4,068 per fiscal year) and authorize the chair to sign the lease documents.
