Approve the revised 2018 San Benito County Holiday Closure schedule for the Assessor; adopt a Resolution of the San Benito County Board of Supervisors authorizing the revised hours of operation for the December 2018/January 2019 holiday closure period for the Assessor.

At the 11/20/2018 of the San Benito County Board of Supervisors, the Board adopted a Holiday Closure schedule for all departments for the 2018/January 2019 holiday closure period.  Since that action, the Assessor has determined that it would be less confusing to the public and more efficient if that office would be closed for the period December 24, 2018 and re-open on January 2, 2019 like many other departments.  The closure period previously approved by the Board for the Assessor’s Office was to be closed from December 26, 2018 to December 28, 2018 and then closed again on January 1, 2019.  The proposed action changes the period of closure of the Assessor’s Office to December 24, 2018 and re-open on January 2, 2019.
