CONSENT AGENDA
BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County of San Benito Emergency Medical Care Commission (EMCC) provides the Board of Supervisors, under which it serves, advice and recommendations on EMS system planning and oversight as allowed by the Health & Safety Code Section 1797.270. EMCC membership appointments are voluntary.
The EMCC conducted a review and revision of its current bylaws (approved on March 2014) to make updates and changes. This included updating the organizations/agencies which comprise the EMCC membership. Consequently, the required quorum was increased to reflect the increased membership of the EMCC. In addition, provisions requiring compliance with the Brown Act and Maddy Act (local appointments list) were added.
