AGENDA SECTION:

CONSENT AGENDA

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AGENCY - J. GUERTIN

The Integrated Waste Management Division of The County RMA Department hosts annual refresher training for City and County employees to maintain their hazardous waste certifications.

This is the second year First On Compliance has provided hazardous waste certification training to County staff. Amendment #1 ($6,055.00) to the original contract is less than the original contract amount ($8,850.00) because one of the three trainings, although provided by First On Compliance is provided through a contract with Stericycle Environmental Solutions Inc., which was approved by the Board on June 12, 2018.

The series of training sessions are provided by First On Compliance and funded through the San Benito Regional Agency Joint Powers Agreement. Therefore, there is no impact to the General Fund.
