Receive the 2018 San Benito County Holiday Closure schedule for all departments; receive the 2019 San Benito County Office Hours schedule for all departments; adopt a Resolution of the San Benito County Board of Supervisors authorizing the hours of operation for the December 2018/January 2019 holiday closure period and the 2019 office hours and days of operation.

The MOU’s for SEIU, MEG and the Institutions Association provide for three (3) paid holiday closure days (or for 24 hours of paid time) for represented employees in these groups during the December 2018 holiday period.  The MOU language provides for closure days of December 26, 2018 through December 28, 2018, and further provides that employees in essential departments who are not closed during this period will be provided with the opportunity to take the three (3) days (24 hours maximum) off during a specified period.  Employees in the Institutions Association are credited with twenty-four (24) hours without an expiration date; however, the hours have no cash value. The days/hours were also approved by your Board for the Confidential, Confidential Management and Unrepresented groups.
