REQUEST: Project applicant proposes to subdivide one approximately 21-acre parcel into twenty parcels of 1.0 to 1.2 acres each, to be used as single-family home sites. Two parcels would access a proposed Meridian Street extension; eighteen parcels would access a proposed road to run south from Santa Ana Road to the proposed Meridian Street extension. GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATION: Residential Mixed (RM). ZONING: Rural Residential (RR). ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION: An Initial Study was prepared, yet CEQA does not apply to projects which a public agency rejects or disapproves per Section 15270 of CEQA Guidelines. The Planning Commission continued this item to a date certain during the September 18th, 2018 hearing. The item was pulled from the October 17th Planning Commission hearing after a determination by San Benito County Counsel that the proposal as configured is inconsistent with the duly adopted San Benito County General Plan.
