BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The attached list of checks has been outstanding and unclaimed in special funds for more than one year.  Pursuant to Govt. Code Section 50055, any individual items under fifteen dollars, or any amount if the depositor's name is unknown, which remain unclaimed in the treasury of the local agency for a period of one year or upon court order may be transferred to the general fund by the legislative body without necessity of newspaper publication.  Treasurer respectfully requests authority from the Board to transfer attached items to the general fund.
