Approve contract amendment with Hayashi & Wayland LLP to add additional scope of work to include an "Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagement" with the RMA department to research, analyze, and provide recommendations regarding the operational effectiveness and fiscal analysis of the County’s Impact Fees, Road Fund, and CSA Fund programs.

On August 18, 2015 the County entered into a contract with Hayashi & Wayland LLP to provide professional accounting services to the County's RMA department as part of the year-end closing process.

This contract amendment is to add additional scope of work to include an "Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagement" with the RMA department to research, analyze, and provide a fiscal analysis and recommendations regarding the operational effectiveness of the County’s Impact Fee, Road Fund, and CSA Fund programs.  The additional scope will be charged on a time and material basis with a not to exceed amount of $48,500 and is included in the RMA FY 2018-19 Adopted Budget.  

1. Approve contract amendment for accounting services with Hayashi & Wayland LLP to add additional scope of work to include an "Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagement" with the RMA department in an amount not to exceed $48,500.
2. Authorize the RMA Director to extend the contract for an additional one-year period, if necessary, and approve changes up to 10% of the contract amount.
