BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Health & Human Services Agency - Public Health Division (HHSA) has recently been granted authority to use prior year unspent funds to greatly expand the scope of services being done by current contractor Mary White, Pharm D. Not only will this expanded scope of services allow HHSA to better utilize current funding but it will also provide for much needed documentation and plan updates for our Emergency Preparedness Program.
The total amount of the contract is not changing. HHSA will be redirecting contract expenditures to the Emergency Preparedness Program budget and there by utilize funding in the budget that would have otherwise gone unclaimed by HHSA. This will also allow budgetary relief to the Public Health Realignment funds in the amount of $35,000.
