BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County entered into an agreement with the law firm of Colantuono, Highsmith & Whatley, PC, to provide legal services of Laura Zagaroli, as Interim County Counsel. It is necessary to increase the maximum hours to 365 hours, with an increased budget not to exceed $100,375.00.

It is respectfully requested that the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve Amendment #1 to the legal services agreement with Coluntuono, Highsmith & Whatley, PC, for an additional amount not to exceed $56,375.00, for a total contract amount not to exceed $100,375.00; and
2. Authorize the Board Chair to sign the amended contract.
