Conduct public hearing continued from the September 11, 2018 meeting in regard to formation of new 3 subdivision Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2018-1 (Residential Services); Consider Adoption of: (1) Resolution of Formation of Community Facilities District, (2) Resolution Calling Special Landowner Election for CFD, and (3) Resolution Declaring Results of Special Landowner Election and Directing the Recording of a Notice of Special Tax Lien; and First reading and motion to accept introduction and waive further reading of the Ordinance Levying Special Tax within CFD No. 2018-1 and continue the matter to October 9, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., or soon thereafter, for adoption of the proposed Ordinance.

RESOLUTION NO: 2018-67, 2018-68, 2018-69

On August 7, 2018, the Board adopted a Resolution of Intention to form Community Facilities District No. 2018-1 (Residential Services) for the three subdivisions known as Brigantino, the Bluffs, and Fay/Bennett. The Board further directed that the public hearing on the proposed CFD be held during the meeting of September 11, 2018. Because the notice of the public hearing must be published in a newspaper of general circulation at least 7 days before the date of the hearing and the publication has been delayed until September 7, 2018, which is only four days before the hearing, it is necessary to continue the meeting until the next regularly-scheduled Board meeting on September 25, 2018.
