Budget Adjustments for FYE 17/18. Approval of various budget adjustments are needed by the Board of Supervisors related to the closing of FY 17/18. These items were budgeted for FY 17/18 as general items, and now the details are available, and need to be moved from one source to another.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

During the budget hearings for FY 17/18, there were a few items that were budgeted in the General Fund that were general in nature as we didn't know at that time how certain departments would be affected with personnel changes or operational changes would occur. We budgeted for a COLA prior to negotiations, Vacancy Budgeting, and unused Services & Supplies in general and not for specific departments. We now have more detail as to how each department operated throughout the year, and the attached Journal Edit Listings move the general budgets to the detail of each department as needed.
