BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The proposed modification would consolidate the existing Bolsa Area, Hollister Area, and San Juan Area Subbasins of the Gilroy-Hollister Basin and the Tres Pinos Basin into a single basin. This modification would remove the internal boundaries among the four listed basins but would leave the external boundaries unchanged. This requested modification is consistent with current local groundwater management activities and supports comprehensive sustainable management.
San Benito County Water District is in the process of submitting application to modify Basin Baoundries, and is requesting the support of the county.
