BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On April 10, 2018 the County entered into a contract with Precision Engineering Inc. to research, review and evaluate the existing roads, sewers, and water systems in the 31 Community Service Areas (CSAs).
Based upon the report submitted by Precision Engineering detailing the current conditions and recommended improvements in the CSAs, the County will benefit from extending this contract by expanding the original scope of work to have the contractor review and prepare CSA budgets, draft improvement plans, project specifications, cost estimates for infrastructure improvements, and and assist with modifications to water system and waste discharge permits.
This contract amendment is schedule to expire on June 30, 2019 and the additional scope of work is expected to cost $160,000.00 with an additional $40,000.00 for contingency.
