BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On June 19, 2012, the County entered into a contract with Nolte Associates to provide engineering services for the Anzar Road Bridge replacement project at a cost of $314,238.00.
On June 4, 2013, the original contract was amended to add $13,714.00 for additional environmental studies. in relation to the bridge replacement project.
After a two-year hiatus this project is being put back on track. However during the time when this project was on hold, California Environmental Quality Act compliance guidelines changed and now requires additional field work to be completed before permits for construction can be issued. Some of the additional scope of work includes, surveying for the presence of endangered or threatened species, vegetation monitoring, and potential mitigation bank coordination.
