BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Behavioral Health Department, Substance Abuse Program clients sometimes require placement in substance abuse residential treatment facilities. This contract provides residential substance abuse treatment and recovery services for adult clients we refer to this level of care, including women and their children (perinatal residential treatment). The services provided are eligible for funding through funds from our County Child Protective Services and Probation Department. Clients placed at this level of care are generally placed as a result of Court ordered treatment related to conditions to participate in residential treatment and recovery services due to substance abusing behaviors. Additionally some clients are referred for this level of treatment as a result of mandated treatment involvement through Child Protective Services. Clients will generally reside at the facility for three months. Substance abuse staffs provide ongoing monitoring of the facility for standards of service delivery and associated required documentation standards.
