BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) wishes to contract with County of San Benito to perform activities according to the California Organic Foods Act. The work includes registration, inspections, sampling and complaint investigations.
The funding is sufficient to cover our costs. The anticipated revenue has been budgeted in the Agricultural Commissioner's Budget for FY 2018/2019.
Work will be performed by current regular and seasonal staff.
