BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Currently, the County has an existing resolution delegating settlement authority for workers compensation matters under a certain dollar amount to staff. This resolution modifies that authority to provide additional settlement authority, with the number of staff and required approvals increasing based on the type of settlement and the percentage of disability of the worker.
This existing resolution was last adopted in 2013 (attached)
