BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On July 1, 2015 the Board of Supervisors entered into a contract with Bracewell Engineering Inc. in the amount of $112,712.00 to provide water quality testing, and system operation and maintenance services to CSA #22 (Cielo Vista), #31 (Stonegate), and #50 (Dunneville Estates) water systems.
On June 30, 2016 the original contract was amended by adding $225,424.00 to continue the scope of services and extend the term for one year ending on June 30, 2019.
On February 20, 2018 the contract was amended by adding $150,000.00 to continue services and repairs to the CSA #31 (Stonegate) water system that will ensure the supply of safe drinking water to the residents.
This contract amendment requires additional funding in an amount not to exceed $248,000.00 in order to continue regular operation of these CSA's drinking water supply and to ensure sufficient financial resources are available for maintenance and repairs. It is anticipated that CSA #22 will need $88,900.00, CSA #31 will need $128,400.00, and CSA #50 will need $30,700.00 for FY 2018-19.
This expenditure will be paid from the individual CSA fund balances. There is no impact to the General Fund.
