BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The current budget and contract amount for the Awards Homes litigation was sufficient to conclude proceedings at the trial court level. The County was successful at the trial court level, but the case has now been appealed to the Court of Appeals. Colantuono, Highsmith & Whatley (hereinafter "Colantuono") has prepared a budget for proceedings at the Court of Appeal level. This budget does not include petition for review in the California Supreme Court or for further proceedings in the trial court should the appeal succeed. The attached amendment is estimated to be sufficient to continue representation through the conclusion of the proceedings at the Court of Appeal level.
