BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County has historically entered into reimbursement agreements in order to fully recover costs incurred for processing land use projects, primarily used exclusively for large development projects, such as Santana Ranch, Bluffs, Panoche Valley Solar, etc.
However, there is a need to be able to execute reimbursement agreements with the minimum degree of administrative procedure, in order to expedite project processing and to reduce the unnecessary expenditure of county staff time.
Therefore, it is recommended that the Board adopt the attached resolution allowing the CAO or the Chair to execute reimbursement agreements which have been approved as to form by the Director of the Resource Management Agency and County Counsel
