BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
On January 23, 2018 your Board accepted the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) OHP allocation of funding from Prop 39 Oral Health Project, to address the burden of oral disease, increase access to oral health services for high-risk populations, and improve the oral health status of all Californians.
The Health & Human Services Agency - Public Health Division (PH) released a Request For Proposal (RFP) to implement the Oral Health Project. The PH received and reviewed the proposals and is now requesting to award the contract to Jennifer Frusetta.
Although the Oral Health Project is a multi-year project, PH is requesting just over 1 fiscal year contract to allow for changes in the scope of work through periodic evaluation by PH.
This contract is incorporated in the 2018-2019 requested budget. There is no impact to the County General Fund.
