BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The San Benito County Health and Human Services Agency is the lead agency for the Safe Kids Coalition of San Benito County which sponsors the annual health and safety fair, Kids At The Park at Dunne Park. This educational event brings many community organizations, agencies, businesses together to provide 30-40 children's learning stations that teach health and safety in a participatory environment. The event averages 1000 children attendees and their families.  This year, the community celebrates this 25th annual event in commemoration of its founder, Janet Graham.  A former BOS representative will be Madam of Ceremonies and 25 doves will be released by San Benito children to honor Janet. Janet sadly lost her life in 2001 on highway 25 in a motor vehicle accident.

Present a proclamation to the President of the Safe Kids Coalition of San Benito County honoring the 25th Annual Kids At The Park and Janet Graham, founder.
