BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Behavioral Health Department clients may require inpatient acute, psychiatric hospital care as part of their ongoing treatment plan. This hospital provides inpatient psychiatric hospital services for adults, children and adolescents. We contract with other psychiatric inpatient facilities that also specialize in treatment for adults and/or children, however, bed availability is unpredictable so it is prudent planning to have multiple options available for hospital resources.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
BH Dept. staff coordinates with the hospital staff and physicians to provide the appropriate associated services.
