BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

On February 15, 2017 the County entered into a contract with 4 Leaf Inc. for building inspection, plan review, and technical assistance services in the Planning and Building Division.  Due to significant changes in management within the Resource Management Agency (RMA) beginning in April 2017 and continuing until a new RMA Director could be hired , invoices for these services have not been paid in a timely manner beginning in May 2017 and continuing until the end of the contract in February 2018. 

 

At the end of the contract term the County determined that the services provided by 4 Leaf Inc. were essential for processing building applications and checking plan submittals.  Therefore, 4 Leaf Inc. will continue to provide these services through the end of this fiscal year.

 

Outstanding invoices from FY 2016-17 equal $85,526.00, invoices from FY2017-18 equal $260,431.00, and it is estimated that March thru June 2018 will cost $144,593.00.
