BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The proposed legal services agreement with Porter Scott has been prepared in an amount not to exceed $29,000 in the matters related to the Hollister School District litigation. Originally the invoices for this litigation were submitted to Trindel, to be paid through the County's insurance program. However, Trindel has declined coverage, and the invoices have been referred to the County for payment. This amount is the amount necessary to pay bills which have been not been paid by Trindel and an estimated amount for the next four to six months. If the matter does not resolve through settlement, a revised contract will be brought back to the Board for further approval.
