BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The purpose of this presentation is to make the Board of Supervisors and the public at large aware of the impending changes of the election materials that voters will be receiving for the June 5, 2018 Primary Election. The County recently entered into a long-term contract and purchased new voting equipment from Dominion Voting Systems. This new equipment provides for additional convenient voting options and cost savings opportunities permissible in Election Law. The PowerPoint Presentation of Changes of Election Material for the June 5, 2018 Primary Election will provide a visual representation of these options and expected cost savings for the Board of Supervisors and the public at large.
