Approve Professional Services Agreement with KNN Financial Services to provide the County of San Benito with General Financial Services in an for the period of February 1, 2018 through February 1, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 USD.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Board of Supervisors approved a contract with KNN Financial Services at the meeting of March 20, 2018. Additional contract language of the approved but unexecuted contract has been requested by KNN Financial Services that does not increase the cost of the contractual not to exceed amount of $100,000. Staff requests that the Board approve the revised hourly contract for general financial services as outlined in the
attached Scope of Work. Anticipated financial services projects include identifying and preparing debt service and finance options for the new San Benito County Jail, solar and renewable energy projects and Sales Tax Cash Flow and Revenue models and related agreements.
KNN Financial Services has served as the County's Finance Advisor since 2018. David Leifer
KNN Managing Director, possess institutional knowledge of the County's financial structure and will be the primary contact for County Staff if this agreement is approved as presented.
