BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The Peer Advocate classification was developed to support the Whole Person Care initiative in the HHSA department that was previously approved by the Board on May 23, 2017.  This position will be paid from the HHSA subvented fund and will not have any affect on the general fund.This classification will be filled by a temporary employee or a Limited term employee.

 

The salary schedule will be at the current minimum wage:

 

11.00 dollars per hour

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

1.  Approve the class specifications for Peer Advocate.

2.  Amend the class title and pay plan to reflect the salary for the class of Peer Advocate.
