Authorize the System Support Analyst position in the Health & Human Services Agency to be reclassified as the Senior System Support Analyst, and authorize County Administrative Officer and the County Auditor to sign any necessary budget augmentations to reflect staffing expenses in the Health & Human Services Agency during FY 17-18 (retirement, existing staffing, new hiring and/or reclassification).
Authorize the salary schedule for the classification of Senior Systems Support Analyst to be added to the Class Title and Pay Plan.

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
It is recommended that the Board authorize the reclassification of the System Support Analyst position in Health & Human Services Agency to the Senior System Support Analyst classification. Additionally, there will need to be a budget augmentation upon staffing changes in the office. This will not have any effect on the general fund as these expenses will be funded by the Health & Human Services (Subvented Fund). See attached CPS classification study.
It is recommended that the Board authorize the salary schedule for the classification of Senior Systems Support Analyst to be added to the Class Title and Pay Plan. The hourly pay schedule is based on fifteen percent above the classification of the existing Systems Support Analyst position.

Senior Systems Support Analyst:
Step A 28.37 through Step G 38.04
