BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:

The State of California Department of Emergency Preparedness has amended the FY16/17 budget to allow counties to fully expend the appropriated funding.  The Health & Human Services Agency - Public Health Emergency Preparedness division has until June 30th to fully expend FY16/17 and FY17/18 contracts.  Attached is a list of items to be purchased with the FY16/17 unspent funds along with the necessary budget adjustment.  The purchases for FY17/18 were approved during the normal budget cycle.  There is no impact to the County General Fund.
