BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Each year San Benito County Office of Emergency Services (OES) receives grant funds from the Department of Homeland Security through the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP). Funds generally go for equipment that improves response and recovery efforts for all public safety partners such as radios, personal protective equipment, and small vehicles.
OES will give a brief update on how the fund are allocated, what they can be used for, and the types of projects that the grant is used for.
