BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) Local Action Plan includes funds for the development and operations of a Community Transition Center (CTC) to assist and support individuals in their reentry into the community from the criminal justice system. Last fiscal year, the Board approved the Amendment to Lease between County of San Benito and Community Services Development Corporation for 1111 San Felipe Road, Suite 101, Hollister, CA for the location of the Community Transition Center. This is a request to continue to lease the same property for the CTC for five (5) years.
The term of the lease will be February 1, 2017 to January 31, 2023, with the option to extend for an additional five (5) years at a rate of $1,512.00 per month. The terms of the lease remain the same. As stated in the original lease, if funding is no longer available, the lease can be cancelled within 90 days written notice.
Funding for the lease will be through the CCP Local Action Plan/AB109. No county general funds will be used for this lease.
