Approval to record the transfer of Assigned Fund Balance to Restricted Fund Balance in the amount of $582,762.10 to meet the County's Obligation for post-closure financial assurance of Class 1 site at John Smith Landfill.

Approve contract for consultant, Mary White in the amount of $98,400.00, for the term of July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017 for public health emergency preparedness.  Approve Budget Augmentation for $120,692 to fund the contract and other Emergency Preparedness activities. (4/5 vote)

(1) Adopt Resolution supporting the formation of a countywide fire protection district, (2) Request the City of Hollister obtain direction from the City Council as to whether the City of Hollister is willing to proceed forward with a fire protection district, and (3) Direct staff to negotiate a cost sharing mechanism to share the costs of district formation, and/or provide other direction to staff.
