Approve Amendment #1 to Contract with Lynx Technologies for GIS consulting services for a term to begin on July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 for a total of $40,000.00 including Basemap Maintenance ($12,000.00), Web GIS Application Development ($15,000.00) and Database Development and Integration ($13,000.00).

BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Lynx Technologies currently administers and maintains the San Benito County Geographic Information System (GIS). This request is to consider a one year extension of the current contract herein presented as Amendment 1 to the original agreement.
Contracted services include management of San Benito's County-wide GIS System including development, updates and maintenance of the county base map and web-based application. The term of the original agreement was for three years beginning in June of 2013 with an expiration date of June 30, 2016.
Funding for this contract is shared with partnering agencies of the GIS Enterprise and the yearly cost of this program is $40,000.00.
