Approve Amendment #2 to contract with CSG Consultants, Inc. extending the term of the original contract through June 30, 2017.

The County entered into a contract with CSG in 2015 to provide initial staffing support following the retirement of the Integrated Waste Management Director in January 2015.  Due to the need to deal with pressing issues like garbage rates, permitting deadlines, and state reporting requirements, CSG support staff was tasked to assist in accomplishing these tasks. 

The contract will provide a fuller level of coverage within the Integrated Waste Management Division with an established menu of services for CSG to perform on a as needed basis.  Funding for the contract is the IWM fund and adequate funds are available to fully cover the contract amendment.  Available funding on contract is $36,787. 

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

1. Approve Amendment #2 extending the term of the original contract through June 30, 2017; and

2. Authorize the Chair to sign Amendment #2.
