BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) wishes to contract with County of San Benito to conduct trapping activities for the detection of exotic insect pests which are considered hazardous to agriculture and to the economy of California. Those insect pests may include Mediterranean fruit fly, Mexican fruit fly, oriental fruit fly, melon fly, gypsy moth, Japanese beetle and other invasive exotic pests.
The work is performed by existing staff. The funding is sufficient to cover our costs. The anticipated revenue has been budgeted in the Agricultural Commissioner's Budget for FY 2016/2017.

3. Authorize the Chair to sign Contractor Certification Clause required by the State of California (CC-307)
