BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The County is eligible to apply as the lead agency in the CalRecycle Beverage Container Recycling City/County Payment Program. With this resolution, the County Board of Supervisors grants approval to participate in the CalRecycle program as the lead applicant. As the lead agency, the IWM Regional Agency will manage all programs within the agency membership area to include the unincorporated areas of the County, City of Hollister, and City of San Juan Bautista.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt Resolution, authorizing submittal of a CalRecycle Regional Payment Program Application as the Regional Lead Participant, Delegation of Authority to Execute All Documents Necessary to Secure Payment, and Identification of Participating Jurisdictions; and authorize Chair Rivas to sign the Resolution.
