In October 2010, your Board adopted the Santana Ranch Specific Plan, which consists of the development of a residential, mixed use project including a maximum of one thousand ninety-two (1,092) dwelling units. Due to the scale of the project, it will be completed in multiple phases. The developer is seeking to record Unit 7, which is for 34 lots. Section 23.09.008 of the San Benito County Code (Subdivision Ordinance) requires that a Final Map be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for approval after it has been approved by staff.

 

The County Engineer and the Director of Building and Planning have confirmed that the applicant has met the conditions of approval of the tentative map as reflected in the Approval Notice.

 

Your Board approved this Final Map on April 26, 2016, but at the time of recordation it was found that there was missing text in the trustee statement. The final Map has been corrected and resigned. The corrected Final Map is being submitted for the Board's consideration. Following Board approval, the corrected Final Map will be recorded with the San Benito County Recorder's Office.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

It is respectfully recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

1. Approve the attached corrected Final Map for TSM 13-89, Tract No. 308, Unit 7 (34 lots);

2. Accept all offers of dedication as shown on the corrected Final Map on behalf of the public for public use, excluding maintenance of easements that will be covered by CFD 2015-01; and

3. Authorize the Chair to sign the corrected Final Map to allow recordation of the Map.
