BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The San Benito County Emergency Medical Services Agency is proposing to host a satellite EMT Academy, in partnership with Hollister Fire Dept., through South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium. Priority attendance will be offered to Hollister Fire Dept. Reserves, local Law Enforcement, and Hollister Hills SRVA.
The fee for delivery of the accredited EMT Academy is $3,732.00, which will be paid out of the EMS budget. This course was budgeted for FY15 at a estimated amount of $10,000. This cost is based upon enrollment of 20 students in the course and receipt of $300 per student for enrollment and lab fees associated with the course to encourage students to finish the course in its entirety.
