BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
Public Health Services (PHS) is in its pre-planning phase of seeking public health accreditation. Achieving public health accreditation will enhance the visibility and credibility of PHS and demonstrate the quality of the agency.
PHS would like to obtain the assistance from the Public Health Foundation (PHF). PHF, through its Quality Improvement Basics Training program, will assist PHS in identifying quality improvement tools and techniques that will improve health outcomes for San Benito County and aid in the accreditation process.
The cost of the training is $12,000 and will be fully paid for by Emergency Preparedness grant funds. This training is scheduled to take place in June 2016.
