BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The California State Sheriffs have been invited to attend the "Colorado Two Years Later - Marijuana Training Conference for Law Enforcement". This conference is designed to impart new knowledge about the current state of affairs regarding marijuana and the effects seen by Colorado law enforcement.
The conference will be held March 16-18, 2016 at the University of Denver.
The estimated cost of this trip is $2,000 and will be paid from the training funds allocated in the Sheriff's Operations budget.
This conference was attended by many sheriffs and chiefs of police in 2015 and was found to be very beneficial in light of the issues California will be facing.
