BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
The Help America Vote Act (HAVA Grants) have assisted counties in providing additional services to voters with special needs. The current HAVA grant has funded the ability for the county to provide completed Sample Ballots and Voter Information Pamphlets, which include Measure Text, Arguments and Candidate Statements via an audio or accessibly website interface. This contract is a 2 year contract which will convert the Official Sample Ballot & Voter Information Pamphlet for voters with special needs and setup the ability for the county to maintain the accessibility for future elections for a reduced cost.
The contract with Democracy Live is funded by a HAVA State Grant.
