BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
For 9 years, Katherine Hough has been a champion serving as a volunteer on the WDB. She first joined the WDB on March 6, 2007. As a member of the WDB she served as chair for 2 years and on numerous committees including: Executive Committee, Programs & Planning Committee, Membership Committee, Bylaws Committee. Mrs. Hough was instrumental in approving local policies & procedures. During the transition from the Workforce Investment Action, she also provided invaluable input in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) Memorandum of Understand and assisted with the development of partnerships with surrounding counties. Mrs. Hough's service on the Membership committee helped to recruit and encourage local business owners and public sector employers to volunteer their services to the WDB and San Benito County. Mrs. Hough is appreciated for her commitment, dedication and contributions to the residents of San Benito County.
