Approve contract with Integrated Commissioning & Energy in the amount of $17,500.00 for the term of January 24, 2017 through June 30, 2019 for building commissioning services required for the Jail Expansion Project.

The new Cal Green building code requires new buildings to achieve a certain level of energy efficiency.  One of the requirements is that a third-party company perform various building commissioning services before, during, and after construction.  There is a contract in place for this service, however that company has restructured and is no longer able to provide this service.

The contract for your consideration covers the scope and fee that was remaining on the original contract.
