BACKGROUND/SUMMARY:
In May, staff conducted an RFP process for Janitorial Services and two proposals were received. Staff had selected Firato Janitorial as the most qualified vendor per the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP and the Board approved their contract in June. Subsequently, the County determined it was prudent to terminate this contract and contacted the vendor who submitted the other proposal.
The scope of services remains the same as the previous contract.
This contract is for a total 3-year cost of $278,043, or $92,681 annually. Of that annual amount, $47,447 is for non-General Fund departments and the remaining $45,234 is for General Fund departments.
